How to Clean & Maintain Your Tools
How To Care For Your Tools
Keep your clippers and trimmers clean, lubricated and performing properly with a simple care routine.
Brush Away Loose Hair
After use, remove loose hair from the blade and cutting teeth using the cleaning brush supplied with your tool.
Clean The Blade Area
Use a suitable clipper cleaning spray or lightly wipe the blade area with an alcohol wipe. Avoid soaking the tool or allowing liquid to enter the body.
Oil The Cutting Teeth
Apply a few small drops of clipper oil across the cutting teeth to help reduce friction and keep the blade moving smoothly.
Run For 5–10 Seconds
Turn the tool on briefly to distribute the oil across the blade, then switch it off and wipe away any excess.
Store Somewhere Dry
Keep your tool in its pouch, case or charging dock in a dry environment. Avoid leaving clippers or trimmers in a damp bathroom where moisture can reach the blades.
Keep The Blades Dry
Do not rinse electric tools under water unless the individual product is specifically stated to be waterproof.
If your tool starts to tug, pull or feel rough during use, stop and clean and oil the blade before continuing.
